The successful use of AI is not only a technical question, but also a human one.
The Mensch-KI-Institut helps organizations find practical and scientifically grounded answers to the challenges of the AI transformation.
We combine diagnostics and education — from analyzing AI usage behavior to everyday-ready training.
Challenge
Many organizations are currently seeing wide differences in how their employees deal with AI. Some use AI confidently and productively, others uncertainly or in error-prone ways. This creates risks for the quality of work, information security, and the responsible use of AI systems.
At the same time, the pressure to implement requirements such as the EU AI Act in a sensible and efficient way keeps growing.
Our Approach
At the heart of our work is an integrated approach combining analysis and competence development.
Impact
AI only delivers its value once people work with it competently and reflectively.
- Better results
- More efficient work
- Confidence in working with AI
- Fewer misapplications
- More controllable risks
- EU AI Act–compliant implementation
Team & Research
We are an interdisciplinary team at the intersection of psychological research, human-computer interaction, and organizational practice. Our work combines scientifically grounded insights into human behavior with user-centered design of digital systems.
Parts of our team have spent several years researching AI literacy, motivation in AI usage, and the question of how people work with AI — particularly from a psychological perspective on human-AI interaction.
